LED is known as the fourth generation of lighting or green light source, with energy-saving, environmental protection, long lifetime, small size and other characteristics, it can be widely used in various indicators, display, decoration, backlight, ordinary lighting and city night scape fields. For an LED lamp, heat is produced first from the LED chip, then through heat conduction, convection and radiation by these three ways to express. Heat conduction is the most important heat transfer mode according to the actual structure of lamps and lanterns.

In this way, the path of heat conduction and the specific heat capacity of the problem will all affect the heat dissipation.

In addition, heat dissipation can’t be simply looked at its area, the path is also important. Look at the design of some LED heatsinks. the middle bottom are thicker and the edge is thinner, in order to reduce thermal resistance.

The materials used in electronic devices are easy to oxidize, and the higher the temperature, the faster the oxidation. If these materials are repeatedly oxidized at high temperature, their life will be shortened. At the same time, they will be heated repeatedly, the materials will expand again, and the material strength will be reduced and the materials destroyed as a result of repeated cold shrinkage.
